SECAM supports its customers in the development of fastening solutions adapted to each application. From functional analysis to test validation, we control the entire process: 3D modeling, sizing, simulation, choice of installation method and tooling. Our integrated approach guarantees robust fasteners, optimized and validated in our in-house laboratory.
SECAMnida insert: a patented fastener for sandwich panels
Linsert SECAMnida is a patented solution designed for sandwich panels from 8 to 40 mm thick, with skins from 0.5 to 2 mm, in aluminum, stainless steel or steel. Crimped by cold deformation, it offers reinforced strength (1800 N in pull-off, 3000 N in shear), M3 to M8 or imperial threading, and reliable glue injection with visual indicator. Lighter (-50%), four times quicker to install and ready to handle immediately after crimping, it guarantees strength, simplicity and time-saving.
