CSR commitments

Our commitments to the valley and beyond

Our Ecological Footprint

We have rethought our entire production chain with the aim of minimizing our impact on the environment. This translates into a more sustainable design of the products and services we offer, an ethical and responsible purchasing policy, and a particular focus on energy efficiency and recycling.

Our Employees

For us, caring for the environment also means providing a caring, positive and more open environment for all our Group’s professionals.

Through our La Cordée program, we are developing and implementing concrete measures in favor of, for example, a virtuous and collaborative organization, responsible management and more equal pay.

Our commitments to the region

Having become an international player should not prevent us from remaining involved locally. Attached to this valley since its origins, our group remains more than ever involved in its territory. This spirit of belonging is reflected in our preferential use of local suppliers and our constant, solid support for the cultural and sporting scene. We are committed to the Chamonix Pionniers field hockey club and help organize sporting events.

Initiatives close to our hearts

A community vegetable garden at the heart of our offices

The HBP Group and ESAT du Faucigny have created a permaculture vegetable garden on a former wasteland. Created and tended by disabled workers Amandine, Lucas, Anthony and Julien, the garden produces vegetables and fruit for sale to employees. This project illustrates our dual commitment to preserving biodiversity and promoting inclusion through solidarity-based employment.

Recycling and recovering our waste

At HBP, we give a second life to our waste. Metal shavings from our production are sorted, automatically recycled and stored in a secure area until they are collected by a specialized partner. Ceramic dust, meanwhile, is collected by a networked extraction system. A responsible approach that limits our environmental impact while making the most of resources.

Eco-design at the heart of our insert development

HBP develops H-type screw-in inserts, designed for easy assembly and disassembly. This design facilitates repair, extends product life and simplifies end-of-life recycling. A concrete example of our determination to integrate eco-design right from the development phase, in the service of more sustainable and circular production.

We deploy our purchasing strategy through a carefully mapped network of privileged partners who can support us in our strategy of innovation and diversification. The aim is to give priority to local sources and fabrics, and to favor the “best bid” rather than the “lowest bid”.
